West Sound Community Awards
Visions Leisure Centre was a finalist in the category for Best Local Charity at the above awards. Unfortunately on this occasion we did not win. A big congratulations goes to Ayrshire Sands who won the award. May we take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted for us. The evening was attended by Christopher Ross representing the board of directors and Anne Hendry our Funding and Development Officer. Here they are accepting a recognition plate for being a finalist in the category.
Swimathon 2011
We would like to thank everyone who helped and participated in the Swimathon 2011 and we hope we have raised a fair amount of money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Below are some pictures from our event.


Red Nose Day
The staff decided to dress in their pyjamas and have a wacky hair day in order to Raise money for Red Nose Day. The staff managed to raise £60 for Comic Relief.
Swimathon 2010
For another year running Visions Leisure Centre have come 1st in the Scottish ranking for recruiting the highest amount of swimmers for the Swimathon. We would like to thank everyone who helped and participated in the Swimathon 2010 and we hope we have raised a fair amount of money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Visions 5th Birthday Party
Visions held their 5th Birthday celebrations on Saturday 17th October 2009 with the centre offering a free fun day for all. Local supporters and business people joined the board of cumnock and district leisure group and the staff at Visions to help celebrate this monumental occasion. West Fm/West sound also joined in the celebrations offering the entertainment for the day and holding many competitions for visitors and radio listeners.

Swimathon
Visions Leisure Centre have entered the Swimathon for the past 3 years and each year we have had a good response from the customers and staff. Last year we came 1st in Scotland for the number of participants taking part in the Swimathon at the leisure centre and we have managed to keep this title again this year.
